Sheds For Sale

Our Preservation Carpentry and Carpentry students hand build several “studio-sheds” each year as part of their training. They are beautifully crafted and built to last, whether you plan to use as decorative storage to accent your property, or as backyard workplace for art, craft, woodworking, or other ventures.

Style 1: Preservation Carpentry

These sheds are 10×12 feet, stick-framed, with clapboard siding on the front and cedar shingles on the other three elevations. Roof types include red cedar shingle, raised-seam copper roofing, or green Vermont slate shingle. Each shed has three windows, one single front door, and a gable end double door. All trim and front doors are only primed so client will need to prep and paint the surfaces themselves The interior is unfinished.

Pricing for sheds begins at $8,000, depending on materials, plus MA sales tax. Pre-orders or direct purchases are accepted depending on availability. Clients are responsible for moving costs, though we have a shed mover available. Mover limits delivery radius of sheds with slate roofing to the local surrounding area.

Style 2: Carpentry

Crafted with care and precision, these 8’×14’ studio sheds combine quality craftsmanship with timeless design. Each shed is stick-framed and features cedar shingles on three sides, primed cedar clapboard on the front and a durable asphalt shingle roof. Each shed has two windows with hand milled trim and a custom-built barn door. The sheds come unpainted and unfinished inside, allowing you to personalize the space to match your home or garden. 

Built from premium materials, these sheds are part of our students’ hands-on framing and finishing experience. Proceeds go directly toward purchasing materials for next year’s class projects.

Price: $5,500 each, plus MA sales tax and delivery fees. (2025 costs are $5,843.75 plus delivery.) Clients are responsible for moving costs, though we can connect you with a trusted shed mover. A non-refundable down payment of $2,500 is required to reserve a shed, with the remainder due within 30 days of delivery.
